To kick off 2024, in this session, we will get ourselves focused and get our minds right for leading in this dynamic market.  We will explore the four major aspects of leading people and organizations in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment.  


 
Devin Lemoine's Bio
 

Devin is president and owner of Success Labs, a strategic organizational and leadership development firm that designs and delivers training, coaching, tools and technology (inQ) to help companies grow better leaders, build better teams, create better organizations ---driving results through great people strategy.

She speaks locally and nationally on the topics of leadership, talent management, and career development including the National SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition and for Johnson & Johnson’s Finance Women's Leadership Initiative.
Devin is a graduate of LSU. In Devin’s spare time, she likes being outdoors and is an avid bike rider. She is also the mother of grown triplets who are LSU alumni and reside in Washington DC; Nashville, TN; and London, England.

Mila Sexton's Bio

 
For nearly 22 years, Mila Sexton, CFRE, has served LSU’s College of Human Sciences and Education as the chief advancement officer for the University Laboratory School (ULS) Foundation. As a member of the ULS administrative team and LSU Foundation senior team, Mila oversees philanthropic giving initiatives and volunteer engagement, while providing leadership and vision for the development program.

 

Prior to joining LSU, Mila served as senior vice president for the American Heart
Association and the Senior Development Director for the General Health System
Foundation. Mila’s 37-year career spans the areas of social service, health care, and
education. Having raised more than $44M impacting countless youth and families in our community and throughout Louisiana, she contributes this accomplishment to the conviction and tireless attention placed on building meaningful volunteer and donor relationships.

 

Mila has served as a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, American Prospect Research Association, Junior League of Baton Rouge, and Planned Giving Council of Greater Baton Rouge. She is a graduate of the 1996 Leadership Class of the Baton Rouge Chamber. She has served on the boards of the American Heart Association, Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre, St. Aloysius Child Development Center, Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Baton Rouge Cotillion, and Mid-City Dance Project.

 

Active in her vocation, Mila has advanced the profession through mentoring, training, and presenting to numerous schools and associations including AFP, Southern University, Louisiana State University and CASE. Mila earned her CFRE in 1999, was awarded the AFP Brother Donnan Berry Award in 2005, bestowed AFP’s Outstanding Professional Fundraiser in 2007, and has been designated one of four AFP Certified Master Trainers in Louisiana in 2018.
