1. Gain perspectives on current landscape and trends in grant making, including the differences and likenesses in a grant award and a donor gift
2. Learn the different approaches to federal grant writing and foundation grant writing, including the Office of Management and Budget's requirements for competitive federal applications (We will touch on DUNS, SAM, and grants.gov registration.)
3. Gain perspectives on "grant readiness" and the importance of financial capacity and internal controls, baseline data sets, evaluation capacity and other internal structures
4. Pam's list of "what I wish I had known early on...." and "if it doesn't fit, don't submit!
